if you hate something then why fucking waste your time? i truly don't understand this. Like, i get it for awhile, but to continually do so just seems like a waste of your own time? no?

KD didn't like the song at all upon first listen but didn't spend the next 47 pages saying he hated it. he waited, played it again and then came back with a considered, if mixed, response.

I took Stip to heart when he says that people who only offer 'this sucks' just puts a needless damper on people who enjoy it. I may not love Pearl Jam's new music but appreciate that a lot of people do and actually enjoy coming into threads and seeing people enjoying the music and sharing their love of it.Strat wrote:If you like something...you talk about it...you dissect it. Nah. I think MYM is great. Suffers a bit from bad production, but I've always loved it.

Re: Superblood Wolfmoon
if you enjoy these songs (as I do) let's just enjoy the shit out of them loudly and try to allow the people who honestly feel disappointed again to have their say
neither "side" has to debate anything, it's all beyond debate at this point; you either think they've addressed a few problems and taken a step in the right direction with The Giga, or you feel it's not enough

Re: Superblood Wolfmoon
I’m sticking with the theory that this is the second single to keep the fans who like their rockers interested in the album.
It’s one of only four songs under 4 minutes. The others that are under 4 are not described as straight forward rockers. Kind of the opposite. “Alright” apparently is a slow build, “Take the Long Way” is a Matt song with a tricky time signature, and “Buckle Up” was described as one of the more abstract songs on the album.

Re: Superblood Wolfmoon
yeah, SBWM wasn't supposed to be a massive leading statement, it's just a rock song; there will be better songs I'm sure -- and I'm weirdly impressed that PJ don't seem to feel the need to replicate The Greatest Song In The World for track 2
both RVM and Corduroy (my favourite PJ song) are track 8
we'll be fine and Spring is on its way
