yes, this part and the la da da are the best parts of the song.
I like how hard panned to the left the solo is. And as Stip mentioned in his review, it feels like Mike is caged in by the rest of the band. Not sure I can think of another song where they used that approach?

In fact, the whole last section from the solo to the end is pulled off very well (except for maybe that weird vocal delivery for "fast" that Ed does at the end). I wish the rest of the song had the same mojo.

great point on the caged in thing. and just when he busts out the band says fuck all that and drops everything back down to that arpeggiated riff. great production!

glad to see that SBWM got that cathartic explosion

This song is interesting in that it seems a fair number of us who like it think the teaser clip section (or the immediate transition into/out of) is the best part of the song. That's just kind of a disorienting thing to have to realize and accept when deciding what one thinks about the rest of it. You just don't figure that a twice-looped snippet, no matter how much you dig it, is actually going to be the most striking moment in an otherwise solid song.

For some of us, it set expectations extremely high. And for me, it's taken a little while to say both (a) that little section is as good as I thought it was three days ago and the other 3+ minutes are totally worthy, too.

I had zero feelings about the snippet except I hope the rest is better

I think the guy killed the girl and the joyfull singing of Super Blood Wolf Moon is just a cynic narrator. This is about feminicide. The blood moon represents death.

I was holding off on voting because I couldn't give it a 3.5.

Seems I'm now edging *cough cough* towards a 4.

This song is catchy as fuck and the production blows away BS and LB.
