I think FYEO is a really good song of that type, but A View to a Kill is more my kind of music.

Yes this Duran Duran track is great. It stands up as a standalone pop song and it was a revelation in 85.

I really like this performance.

As much as I like A View To A Kill, I have a soft spot for the disco era FYEO. Always liked the snippets of that song placed throughout the movie.

Two of the worst Bond movies. FYEO is a terrible song. The Duran Duran song has has awful verses but a catchy chorus. Going with that.

Yeah I grew up with hime as Bond. Connery felt off until I was much older. I liked Dalton though but now he comes across as utterly charmless.

I'd never heard either of these songs. "For Your Eyes Only" repurposes a piece of the melody of "Oh Girl" by The Chi-Lites... it kept getting stuck in my head as I listened to it. I like it! I enjoy this kind of chintzy, ridiculous power ballad.

Every Duran Duran song is bad and this is no exception. Easy vote for the Sheena Easton song here.
