One thing I'm hopeful about is that I feel, by and large, PJ have been pretty successful at picking first singles that are indicative of what the rest of the album holds in store (and how it contrasts from previous records). Even going back to Vitalogy, STBC, Who You Are, Given to Fly, NAIS, I Am Mine, Worldwide Suicide, The Fixer and (to a lesser extent) Mind Your Manners all give a pretty good idea on what that album is going to sound like and how it differs from the last album. I don't necessarily expect all of Gigaton to be as out there as Dance, but if that song's adventurousness was a feint compared to the rest of the record, I'd be pretty surprised (and disappointed).

Neither from eds perspective. And they work a helluva lot better than his awful attempts at in character such as unemployable. Which is outright utterly embarrassing attempt.

I would love to hear about the making of this record and all the ups and downs they went through on their "road map to musical redemption." Perhaps, we'd even get to the bottom of what happened with Can't Deny Me and if they really had an album ready to go and scrapped the whole thing.

as secretive as the band is it wouldn't surprise me that there's one for every album for their "road map to musical redemption" and then is scrapped because of various reasons.

Not sure about Spenno but I was mainly just thinking of instances where he seems to try on dialects that seem completely unnatural to him.
