It isn’t even about skin with him. He’s clearly crushed the life out of a lot of songs and ideas over the last few records

Probably not. Jeff had to secretly get Pendulum recorded during the LB sessions.dimejinky99 wrote:In no universe does this song even exist never mind be so damn good had Brendan O Brien been producing

At the very least the song would have faded out a lot earlier.dimejinky99 wrote:In no universe does this song even exist never mind be so damn good had Brendan O Brien been producing
Hearing Stone talk about the creation of the song, it seems like it would have been "OK fellas, back to work" with B'OB.

Re: Dance of the Clairvoyants
I could do with more of Stone giving the origin stories of these new songs.Farmer John wrote:At the very least the song would have faded out a lot earlier.dimejinky99 wrote:In no universe does this song even exist never mind be so damn good had Brendan O Brien been producing

I’m sympathetic to the general sense of doom but this one is still good, 96.

when I say killed I meant butchered like didnt play well but those songs didnt suffer simply because they dont translate well in a live setting

Re: Dance of the Clairvoyants
I dunno I’ve seen them ruin sleight of hand live. And play it well.
The atmospheric songs often suffer live. I’m sure there’s a few big ones do too
Least we can be sure they won’t play this one too fast
