Granted this is one state, and also a relatively young state which plays to Bernie’s strengths. But Bernie just had his best night of the campaign. Thus far he is killing it with Hispanics, keeping pace with AAs, and some data showing he is up a point (or tied) among Dems who think of themselves as moderate or conservative. But really, the Latino vote... holy shit. Super excited to see how CA & TX vote.

A lot of Republicans' certainty about how Sanders is the person they want to run against, and how he could never possibly win a general election, remains utterly baffling to me. I mean, if anyone on the planet would know that you shouldn't feel 100% resolute about the eventual failure of an unconventional party nominee, you would think it'd be Republicans.

there did not appear to be malice in it

he didnt use the word nazi

he was complimenting him by paralleling a military battle where one side unexpectedly defeats a formidable foe

I did both and that is not the impression I got. Surely there are other upset victories he could have referenced.

He's made plenty of other comments about bernie recently that support a view of him being malicious here too.

MSNBC as a whole are in full on attack mode against Bernie.

They’re counting on the word ‘socialist’ being lethal, if repeated often enough.

The weird thing about it is that this administration has the most communistic qualities of any we’ve seen. Loyalty panics, officials suppressing bad internal reports for fear of top level reprisals, factional infighting, a leadership class that openly devotes public resources for personal gain....

It's not so much their hypothesis than Bernie would be easier to beat than Biden; I understand the reasoning behind it. It's more their certainty that it would be a cakewalk that I just find delusional. I know self-awareness can be in short supply in politics and punditry, but you'd think Republicans would literally be able to remember the last presidential election we had and how it turned out.
