"Johnny Guitar" is one of a handful of PJ songs from the last couple albums that I find worthwhile. It's much more interesting to my ear than "Superblood Wolfmoon"

the lyrics ruin it for me, which is kind of a theme on that album; I do think it reaches a nice crescendo jam at the end, I just prefer SBWM's attempts to do everything I liked about it

this song has grown on me big time. i know people bitch about the vocals, but i think they are great. super catchy and it doesnt sound like eddie's running out of gas to me. between this and the DOTC, i think the vocals have sounded great.

Oh hell no. Much fun to be had here.
We still make records to be listened to — not that everyone will listen to a record track one to twelve in a row or side A or Side B — but we still make 'em in case somebody does want to listen to it like that, that's how we make em…

This sounds like a Backspacer song. The melody just gives me that vibe.

this song is absolute garbage. Lyrically, vocally, energetically, compositionally and sonically. As bad as Ole, CDM, Gonna See My Friend. It’s dad rock gone bad.

Real talk: hearing Eddie Vedder sing about a woman who is cumming just for him kinda bums me out. It’s like that time when Bruce Springsteen sang about tongue fucking redheads.

Love everything about it except the intro. Looks like most who hate the song like Johnny Guitar, the adult contemporary garage rock song that 50% of threads here seem to be really about. Don't know what's going on there.

SBWM is about a thousand times cooler than Johnny Guitar.

What an utterly odd comment...Are we really uncomfortable discussing an orgasm? I can't be the only person on this board who has ever cum, can I?
Ed has a couple of children, ya know. I'm assuming it's happened to him at least a handful of times in his life.

It's not that anyone is uncomfortable discussing orgasm, it's just that nobody wants to hear a 50 year old dude Spritz bark his way through bad lyrics about it. It's cringe to the max.
