This has always been a top 10 song for me, and one of my favorite Jeff pieces
I remember hearing this for the first time on a boot from the '99 Bridge school shows. Instantly blew me away. Out of all the pre-album singles, this one got me most excited about an upcoming PJ album![]()
Couldn't tell you how many times I listened to those two tracks (NAIS, Thin Air) leading up to Binaural.
Top 10 for me too. I was enthralled by the '99 Bridge School version when they debuted it and listened to the mp3 over and over in my dorm room. Still love it.

There was a poster recently that mentioned they hate this song, and it really surprised me. I can't remember who it was, though.

Re: Song of the Moment: Nothing as it Seems
Hearing that debut of this song from the Bridge School in '99 was goose-bump inducing. Like others, I had this and Thin Air on repeat for a long time.
But, when the studio cut was released, I will admit to being a bit let down by it. There's something about the recording of it that just seems a bit stifled or claustrophobic. Maybe I was expecting a bit more added to it, not sure. It's still great, mind you.
Their have been some amazing live performances of it - and, this is where this song really shines. Nurnberg 2000 is still my favorite performance.
