Somehow you win some sort of contest and it's up to you to pick the songs for Pearl Jam's upcoming 5-track covers EP. They will 100% record whichever songs you pick. These are the rules:
One song must be by an artist that preceded Pearl Jam (let's say anybody who started making music prior to 1985).
One song must be by an artist of Pearl Jam's generation (let's say anybody who started making music between 1985 and 1995).
One song must be by an artist who came after Pearl Jam (anybody who started making music after 1995).
One song must be by a solo female musician (of any era).
And one wildcard.

Re: Songs you want to see Pearl Jam cover
I’d like to hear them cover most any Pearl Jam song as Pearl Jam played it when it was first released. In other words, slow the fuck down guys. The groove gets lost.

Don't mind them. It's typical of RM that everyone is a mod when a new thread is created.

Re: Songs you want to see Pearl Jam cover
I think the Pearl Jam forum at the Pit's main problem is hardcore mods and too many sticky threads. It's not a good example, because overall it's just so poor.Bammer wrote:No rules = CHAOS = http://forums.theskyiscrape.com/viewtop ... 15&t=14936Anders wrote:Don't mind them. Re: Songs you want to see Pearl Jam cover
We just have some good discussion here in our PJ chat. I'd hate old or already discussed items to get lost in the void because someone didn't feel like searching before making a thread. I don't mind looking them up and merging them, though. We've pretty much got a topic for everything PJ related at this point.

I don't think we've ranked all b-sides in a direct comparison thread yet.
