This is why I come to these threads. Also for the obsessive analysis and love of PJ music. But mostly for the puns and spritzy spunk jokes.

At least there is some redeeming value in this thread dedicated to a 1-star song

I still like this song. One of the few Backspacer songs I still listen to

I made a short playlist with the two Gigaton tracks, and a few songs from the previous three albums, that I’ve played on repeat while working. Always pleased when this comes on.

A few years a go I picked up the Johnny Guitar Watson album referenced in this song.
It was terrible

I feel like they tried to re write this song with Let The Records Play and failed miserably

Jeepers Creepers cross-pollinated w/ Feel Like a Woman sounds absolutely nothing like JG.
We still make records to be listened to — not that everyone will listen to a record track one to twelve in a row or side A or Side B — but we still make 'em in case somebody does want to listen to it like that, that's how we make em…

It's so fucking funny to me that they mined that Shania Twain song for ideas on TWO separate occasions

eddie's always been in touch with his feminine side. from writing pro-choice on his arm to writing daughter to singing a christina aguilera melody to writing like shania twain... when it works, it works.

When Avocado came out there was a lot of talk about how the "ohh OHH ohh"s in "Unemployable" sound like the ones from the chorus of "Man! I Feel Like a Woman"

Anyone can hear the similarity in Unemployable. But what is the other comparison? JG and?

This is the first I've ever heard of this.
