I think a lot of these socialists are quite young, possibly first-time voters, and that their politics will become less extreme in the coming years. That's not to say that their concerns about debt, tuition, and the climate are unfounded; but that I bet they'll think twice about ripping the rug out from capitalism once they've made junior partner at their firm and can afford a nice condo in Williamsburg

Isn't it plausible that maybe they are dropping out because people aren't voting for them or choosing them in polls or donating to their campaigns?

I think Butti dropping out helps Biden and I wouldn't be surprised if he were approached by the Superdelegate mafia with a pledge of support if he ran for Indiana Governor or Senate as Democrat if he just steps aside now

The timing of Pete’s departure strange. Can’t help but think that perhaps Biden offered him a VP spot to drop out before Super Tuesday.

I’ve been wondering what that Klob vs Pete fight was during the debate...why they were sniping at each other when neither was a front runner or major hurtle to the other. My assumption was that someone had made clear that they were both up for the same support post...possibly a VP spot. Given their quick exits the moment Biden has momentum, it’s pretty clear who they’ve been talking to.

On the matter of foreign interference via social media, and absurd dark money spending, yeah I think the men are out of the cave on that one.

On the matter of being an arrogant POS who can hardly articulate a sentence, and gets away with making fun of women, the poor, minorities, handicapped, and veterans, I think he's an anomaly that the GOP will be reckoning with for years to come.

I don't think either of those things are why trump won. Dems who think trump won because of racism or Russians or whatever will eternally miss the point.

I think the one positive thing Trump could usher in is a lack of decorum. He had it right when he described his style as “modern presidential.” The Empire sense of “presidential” needs to go.

But of course democrats will probably miss the boat on that too.
