Maybe they put those "mist stations" or whatever they're called that they set up at outdoor festivals when it's really hot out? Those things that spray a mist on you with cold water. Place them outside the doors where you walk in. Replace the cold water with hand sanitizer and make everyone walk through them on the way into the venue. Problem solved and we are free to rock.

All of their crew and managers probably live in and around Seattle, right? I imagine they would be worried that once they get out on the road, someone might come out of the incubation period and get sick, then they'd all have to self-quarantine and cancel shows in the middle of the tour. It's not like they're originating from a part of the country with no cases. The more I think about that, the more likely it seems.
this is what they get for waiting 6 years to publish the album

Last time I had tickets to a cancelled concert Ticketmaster didn't refund the service charges.
i wonder what happens if you sell them on fan to fan exchange - and then the concert is cancelled .... does the fan who bought it get a refund from TM?
they are going to have to figure all this shit out

Was wondering that too.
maybe instead they will just do one show per week from the safety of their rehearsal studio and broadcast it via poorly-functioning webcast

I can't remember, were concerts and such cancelled during the swine flu outbreak? That was much more deadly and contagious.
I can't remember which outbreak or sickness it was (maybe it was swine flu?) - but I remember at the Memphis show in 2014 Ed joking about if he passes a bottle of wine during crazy mary that he was sick and for "legal purposes" he was informing them beforehand.
