Looks promising from Variety article: Vedder said he is particularly proud of the lyrics on track “Seven O’Clock,” which evokes trippy, Pink Floyd vibes and finds him in full falsetto as the song winds down. “That one started as a jam early in the recording sessions, and then they moved on and did other things,” Evans tells Variety. “We went through and pulled out a bunch of different cool moments and cut them together, and then the band layered a bunch of new things on top of it.”
Totally down for this. Anything that starts out as a jam with this band, I'm in.
Seven o.clock, retrograde and whoever said should be very good to great, like River Cross, dotc (I'm diggin it again) and sbwm. That could be a minimum of 6 high ranking tunes. It's not a stretch to believe this album could break their top 7.
I would agree. Especially considering how much DotC and SBWM have grown on me. That adds to the longevity of an album. Pretty sure this album is gonna unfold more and more with each listen. Down for that.

There's been more than enough time for Dance of the Clairvoyants to settle in for me to easily say its better than any song off Backspacer and Lightning Bolt. Its a 4.5 star song for me.

Superblood Wolfmoon im actually really enjoying...its grown on me to the point where i'd rank it as a solid modern day Pearl Jam rocker. Definitely prefer it to Mind Your Manners and Got Some which were both released as 1st or 2nd singles. Its at a solid 3.5 stars for me right now.

I'm optimistic that this album will be better than the last two...not sure if it will crack my top 7 though!

I would like this album to be my 8th favourite, after the Ten-Riot Act run; that's all - it's sounding more and more likely

How many times per month do you pop Ten in? No sexual references please.

Exactly. Maybe pj would be the perfect band had they thought ahead a little more while writing that one. Though i guess that generation wouldnt have bought anything else at the time.

TEN was a great album for it's time
I haven't gone through and listened to it side to side since the Redux came out

I still love it as an album...It's just so burned in the brain that I don't ever feel compelled to put it on

no doubt, I saw it on my phone because of google news. I think the only way that date is correct is for the third single.

Longtime fans were understandably a bit nonplussed when “Dance Of The Clairvoyants,” the first single from the Pearl Jam’s upcoming Gigaton—its first record in more than six years—was released a few weeks back. The song was an unexpected venture into icy ’80s synth-pop, a strange look on the classic-rock outfit. But new single “Superblood Wolfmoon” is a reassurance that, no, the band isn’t completely reinventing its sound.(Alex McLevy)

That guy must read Facebook.

But for real, that’s why I think SBWM was the second single. Give those folks the guitar solo they require.
