It was OK, I guess.
I'm not one of those people who requires a plot to make perfect sense but it didn't make any sense at all in parts.

I'm frankly disturbed that you all would have the opacity to make such statements.

Re: What movies are you watching?
Watched Hail Satan? yesterday on my day off.
I can definitely see the appeal of the organization as presented by Lucien and co. the problem is the Jex person in Detroit who starts out being all "yeah this is great" and slowly ramps things up to be militant. she gives a great radicalization speech near the middle of the movie, I can see a lot of people hearing that and thinking "she knows what she's talking about".
it was pretty humorous in a lot of places and eye-opening in others. I especially loved the scene where Rapert was talking about Lucien Greaves and how that's not even his real name but is actually Douglas Mesner. the movie cuts then to him and he says "that's not my real name either."The film shows Satanists working to preserve the separation of church and state against the privilege of the Christian right.

Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind.
Still a powerful movie. Visuals are top notch, love the photography. The cast is superb.

I watched Mudbound. Decent movie, with an important message. I enjoyed both the acting and the look of the movie. The story was fairly straightforward, until a very typical twist, that I felt lost some of the appeal. Still overall I enjoyed it.

love that one. you really really have to suspend your belief in the justice system and how quickly and efficiently it worked in the movie but otherwise brilliant.

Brawl is a Grand Guignol fantasy. One thing it does not even remotely attempt to do is depict the justice system realistically.

It could have worked if they made the movie more true to life as well, but I thought it was excellent the way they made it.
