I am not expecting anything even remotely close to SOUND & FURY by Sturgill Simpson. I think it will be more like pablum for the eyes.
Think I’m going to try being kind to everyone a chance.

Yea i actually quite enjoyed my pj20 experience in Denver. I was worried but people were very courteous, reserved, up until the last "Alive" montage and even then it felt organic and quite lovely!
yeah my experience with both PJ20 and Let's Play Two was nice actually.

do you people maintain a file of this shit or am I just that bad at internet searches
I fully embrace this line of thinking because man there are some deep cuts pulled out at a moments notice.

Hey Pearl Jam, your fans aren't rebellious youth anymore. We're old people with jobs and kids, maybe even grandkids. Plan accordingly. Drop the leash.
it's not even in all of the Atmos theaters so wtf is up with that?

I'd almost rather a listening party like the ones where they hand you wireless headphones and you can walk around freely. that way you don't have to listen to the people around you at all.

Going to PJ shows is bad enough. I don’t need the fans ruining album experiences too.

This does ound like a neat idea on the surface. But, yeah, being surrounded by over excited fans at something like this would be a real drag - especially when they start singing to DOTC or SBWM. Or just hearing them talk about the band. Or, any topic, really.

I'm of two minds on this. Do I think it's corny and cringe-worthy? Definitely? On the other hand, we're talking about people enjoying music - I mean, isn't that the point?

I saw Let's Play Two in the theatre and it was fine. Nobody was annoying. Granted the theatre was barely half full. Don't let you worried get you down. I've listened to Dolby Atmos music in a proper set up and it's quite the experience. I'll be definitely trying to get tickets to this.
