Man - just tried listening to the youtube brazil can't deny me live video from 2018.

I want the last 4 minutes of my life back.

I thought - maybe actually listening to the live cut will be different than my recollection of the 5 times I listened to the studio cut before trying to erase that one from my memory. Nope. Didn't work.

I loved this first time I ever heard. He opened with it here. But to think we get this AND DOTC on the same record? Exciting stuff.

so amped about this song

kalimba

wow

and so amped about being in on this thread early

it’s like being an apple investor in the 70s and no one realizes yet it’s gonna be huge

while the proles toil in the 189th page of the SBWM thread to dry cough out some shred of a new idea about the latest iteration of Got Some

we bask in the glow of eternal possibilities of this thread’s early teens

this is the dawning of the age of aquarius

I think the Ed live version is ok, but if they simply put a studio version of that on the album, it would not be a standout track. Hopefully the band can improve it (and not worsen it).

Please no. I hope if they’re on it it’s minimal as all hell.

Speed of sound comes to mind.

make boom dress up to be a rasta during it and play a djembe

have some ethiopian backup singers ed met panhandling in a train station doing accent voices

I can’t think of a single Ed only song that has been great since Into The Wild. Usually the more the band is involved the better. I don’t know who to blame for Future Days.

I never really listen to it, and I know it gets a lot of “Aw huh” shit, but Just Breathe is a nice melody. I could almost see it on Into the Wild

I heard on the grapevine that there is a special guest RM poster on the kalimba.

His name starts with J and ends with orhay.
