What movies are you watching?

Seen all the Terminator movies again. Only got the new one left. 3 was a little better than I remembered, 5 was worse.

I won’t argue with that, but I do love T2. Arnold in his prime, great music, action is superb.

I’ve always found 2 super overrated. It’s got nothing on the brutal, lo-fi efficiency of 1.

Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Bombshell. You know what you’re getting, but I’m a sucker for most movies that go behind the scenes of journalism/news, so I really enjoyed it.

Saw it yesterday. Nothing groundbreaking but it was fun. Charlize was good. John Lithgow was good too.

I watched it on the plane the other day. Some really bad acting in that movie.

Still 45 minutes to go, but this feels like the worst of the franchise at the moment.

The Terminator/Arnold has a human family, and has settled down on a farm. Sarah Connor is a drunk that hunt terminators. John is dead. The new person they have to save is really cute, but I’m not sure why she is important yet.

I would be too curious not to. But I found it to be a weak entry in the series. It’s supposed to be a direct sequel to T2, disregarding 3-5 completely, but starts by shitting all over T2.
