Re: Official WWE/Pro Wrestling thread
I was in the building and it was the most fun I've had at a wrestling show in years.

I thought it was decent, the main event was good and Marty Scurll was a nice surprise.

Anyone going to be watching Hard Times tonight?

I watched it, it was ok. The women’s match was very good. It didn’t cost a lot of money so I can’t complain too much, but this felt more like a long episode of Power than a special event though.JuanHamm wrote:Anyone going to be watching Hard Times tonight?

I was kind of sour about this in advance because I felt like they pulled a bait and switch with Marty. They definitely made it look like Marty-Aldis would be the main event when they were soliciting pre-orders. Flip Gordon was a big downgrade.

I HATED the Brock stuff as it was happening, but once McIntyre came out and the place popped huge I was like "man, that fucking worked."

Re: Official WWE/Pro Wrestling thread
I loved it and some of it was pretty funny (Brock dancing, Brock and Shelton). And his elimination totally built up McIntyre as a legit threat and it was believable when he won.numbers wrote:I HATED the Brock stuff as it was happening, but once McIntyre came out and the place popped huge I was like "man, that fucking worked."
Would have loved to have seen more of Lesnar-Keith Lee though.
The Edge-Randy Orton stuff was fun too.
Also, shout out to Beth Phoenix for her performance.

Re: Official WWE/Pro Wrestling thread
Yeah, as the Brock stuff was happening, I hated it because he was burying everyone and it wasn’t a rumble match. Plus, I assumed that it was leading to Cain Velasquez again which is ugh. When I realized it was done to MAKE McIntyre though I changed my opinion completely.Joesanity wrote:I loved it and some of it was pretty funny (Brock dancing, Brock and Shelton). I haven’t watched in a few months. Wonder where I should watch from on the WWE app.
