Older ones:
Simple Minds
The Jesus & Mary Chain
Public Enemy
Outkast
New Order (though I'm less inclined without Peter Hook)
Blur
The Stone Roses
Less old ones:
Little Boots
Robyn
Lykke Li
The Naked & Famous
Janelle Monae
Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Sleigh Bells
Cut Copy
The Postal Service
Yelle
The Wombats
Extinct ones that will stay extinct forever but holy shit if they EVER got back together I'd be there:
The Smiths
Rilo Kiley
Mansun
McCarthy
LCD Soundsystem
Kenickie

There's a few now extinct ones I'd like to see but as far as active bands go Blur is high on my list and I'm pretty stoked I'm getting to see them in January. Oh and The Melvins with the 2 drum lineup who I'll get to see in December.

I'm down to these 5 artists:
The Cure
My Bloody Valentine
Paul Simon
Yo La Tengo
U2
I'd love to see any of them, but other than Yo La Tengo they never come to Portland. Bah.

I wouldn't give up on them coming to Portland just yet. Before 360, they were there on the previous two tours (Vertigo & Elevation).matt reeder wrote:U2

Re: Bands you most want to cross off the list
After crossing Neil Young and Crazy Horse, Black Sabbath, My Bloody Valentine, Shellac, Earth and Soundgarden off over the last 18 months or so, I've managed to cut down my must-see list considerably.
More than anyone else, I'd love to see Nels Cline and Bohren & der Club of Gore. I've never seen Radiohead either, they haven't played Adelaide since the 90s, so that'd be nice at some point. I'm really excited about finally seeing Mudhoney in a few months too.

Re: Bands you most want to cross off the list
Soundgarden hurts me, I'm going to miss them in Berlin tomorrow and I missed them last year (?) too.
I'm gonna have a reserve for an eventual Led Zep gig, I remember Robert Plant saying he's got time in 2014 but he could be trolling us all.
Nine Inch Nails too but I have to get used to flashing lights, I remember seeing Rearviewmirror for the first time last year and I nearly died at the end.

I would like to see a full Wintersleep show. I've seen them three times but they were all short sets.
