It wasn't the voters in all those primary elections, it was the deep state!
A little from column A, a little from column B. If you don’t think the establishment (read: the DNC, the media, voter suppression efforts, et al) have been fighting Bernie tooth and nail every step of the way, I don’t know what to tell you.

To what extend are you involved with local/country/state politics, LV? And for the record, I asked the same question of my sister who is heartbroken over Warren's loss.
I vote in local elections and that’s it. Doesn’t really have anything to do with what the presidential election is about.
to clarify: what do you think a local election is?
What do you mean?

Is it possible you meant that you only vote and nothing more when it comes to local elections? a reading error on my part, considering further posts.

I think we’re talking past each other or something because I’m still not sure what you’re asking?

possibly: I have a doctor's note that says I suck at explaining what I'm talking about, and no I won't stop using that as an excuse. :)

How's this:

When you vote in November, do you vote only on local elections or do you vote for everything on the ticket?

Oh I see. I was saying I vote in all the local elections but I don’t, like, get out and engage in grassroots political action or anything. I vote for everything on the ticket, yes.

got it. same here, I vote for everything in every election - though the elections where someone is running unopposed I usually write a name in because it's a foregone conclusion so why not.

Is Bernie's new plan to pray for the mass death of everyone over 50? I mean, I assume it's always been that, but that seems like his best shot at this point.

i love Bernie tbh but i don’t think he is losing solely on electability

- Old people: there are obv tons of old people showing up for Biden- and we know old people don’t like radical change

- Blacks: there are lots of Blacks showing up for Biden - prob bc they associate him with Obama and so Bernie would have to work real hard to make his distinctions clear (and prob in a way where he is not dissing the first Black US President)

- moderate-to-progressive dems: voters that might have been open to Bernie may have been turned off when it became clear he had no reasonable plan to pay for the healthcare stuff that’s the cornerstone of his campaign. Obamacare is a practical step in the direction of single-payer and folks might be content to choose Biden on at least the basic premise that obamacare will be restored (and perhaps improved upon)

- young people: didnt turn out like they needed to. why the DNC doesnt spend more on voter registration initiatives i do not understand. unless its bc they want to drive registration of ‘their type of voter’ (i.e. not young and idealistic)

This misses the mark here. The Coronavirus is probably the best thing that could have happened to Bernie’s campaign, but not because it kills old people. It’s because it will expose the reality of the savings gap, which fuels the exact type of anger he needs to get people to demand forced redistribution. Just like in Germany in the 1920s (sorry plat)

it's totally fine that Biden has dementia

Trump has dementia

they both are gonna say stupid things

Biden's will be slightly less stupid - and if he sticks to his aides' advice - will be SHOUTED

and that will give him the edge

and just make sure his wife is up there next to him
