I find it kinda crazy that this bothers some people.
he doesn't even say LA-HAST; it's clearly one syllable in this song

as for HURTCHA... this is literally just Ed's accent lol

The guy doesn’t even know what he is anymore, nor what he is doing on RM

who are the tourists and what does that even mean.

I only came back over the past few months, and it was specifically for the drip of info about Gigaton. I wouldn't say at all that it makes me a fake fan.

I never post on any online forums because it doesn't interest me, but I like Pearl Jam enough that when there's info to be doled out, I'm dying for it. That's why I'm here.
I was being sarcastic, I don't believe in "fake fans"

Sorry, I did pick up on your sarcasm. It wasn't directed at you - I was just feeling a similar vibe from some people.

Surprise release tomorrow please. Or, give us one last single to hold everything over.

it may not be LAHAST but it's certainly fucking weird and I had to look up the lyrics cause I thought he was mumbling that part lol

Also "Super Blood Wold Moon, took her away too son" It sounds like "Too Son" and not "Too Soon" WTF ED

I knew those lyrics right away, it sounds like "too soon"

and I can't hear half of Ed's mumbling in the catalogue; that's been a complaint from non-fans since the beginning

look, I'm not denying his weird late-career enunciation issues; but it really does sound like this producer has worked on them a little; I think we'll know when we hear River Cross, which has a lot of drawn out vaaaa-howels; I didn't hear him do that in the live versions, which pleasantly surprised me; let's wait and see

haha, it's true

there's literally a Facebook meme going around that says something like "y'all say you can't understand mumble rap but listen to Pearl Jam"

Hehe.

I think a lot of the enunciation issues these days are him trying to compensate for lost range and vocal dexterity. I appreciate that he's doing the best he can. He sounds remarkable for his age.

I will say that I don't think he needs to overcompensate; he could easily pull off the subtler, quietly seething performance of Riot Act again; but some people just think he doesn't show up for Riot Act and it sounds like he feels that too
