Deep was my favourite song on Ten when I was a kid. It will always hold a special place in my heart.

Agree in general though I am more worried about Ed trying to pull off vocals like WWS, Evacuation, Army Reserve as they are more challenging to sing (Higher vocal register).Clem Halibut wrote:Yeah, Quick Escape has me intrigued and worried at the same time.
Haven't heard Ed sing Deep in a long time & Blood has been a total train wreck on recent tours
1995 Eddie could sing the shit out of both of those
I don't know how 2020 Eddie could pull a song like that off now.

You know they're full on dad rock when the blue guitars start showing up...bodysnatcher wrote:Mike looks like one of the dudes from Aerosmith who walked into the wrong photo studio and had no idea that wasn’t his bandJohnny Turner wrote:

bring on the dad rock. i'd honestly take just breath, unthought known, and future days over anything on Ten besides black and release, at a show.brandez wrote:You know they're full on dad rock when the blue guitars start showing up...bodysnatcher wrote:Mike looks like one of the dudes from Aerosmith who walked into the wrong photo studio and had no idea that wasn’t his bandJohnny Turner wrote:

Re: The Official GIGATON Thread
Brian Fallon (former Gaslight Anthem signer) has an album releasing the same day as Gigaton. He released his first single 12/18 and has put out three since. That’s literally half the album.
I don’t listen to as much new music as I used too, but these slow rollouts really don’t feel like the right way to go about things in 2020.

The April 94 run is pretty much peak live PJ. it's weird to feel how much changed between this show and the Orpheum gig less than 2 weeks later.Clem Halibut wrote:Same here - The Dissident single with the Live in Atlanta 94 show propelled my Pearl Jam fandomLeatherhead wrote:After hearing this (8 or 9 years ago) there was no going back.

I'd be pretty fucking pissed if I died before getting to hear this record.dimejinky99 wrote:You’re all Fucking assholes. Only upside is you’ll all soon be dead.
We still make records to be listened to — not that everyone will listen to a record track one to twelve in a row or side A or Side B — but we still make 'em in case somebody does want to listen to it like that, that's how we make em…
