Dimi’s days of leaking information may be over. A different insider said band management did not appreciate a fan controlling the release of information. Time will tell on that one.

Where do we think Dimi gets his info? A singular person in the PJ camp, or various folks in the industry (as he claims)?

I also think it's odd that anyone in the PJ camp would dislike the way the info leaks out - it whips the fans into a frenzy and it almost certainly sells them substantially more tickets with people being able to plan further in advance.

On the other hand, he pretty much single handedly leaked literally every European and US tour date so far well before the announcements.

RIP Dimitris Karianakoupolos (sp).

The well-known, yet mysterious, Purell Jim superfan was found deceased in his studio apartment in the early morning hours of an apparent suicide by hanging. While authorities have not completely ruled out foul play, it is widely speculated that this was in immediate reaction to the band cutting off his sources to advance touring information. Other fans and devotees of the band around the world will now have to wait until they are officially good and ready to announce their own goddamn tour dates.

Celebrated amongst his peers at “The Pit” online forum, Mr. Karianakoupolos(sp?), affectionately known as “Dimi,” had recently been under fire for his role in encouraging other fans to prematurely book flight and hotel reservations far in advance of the confirmed tour dates. Had fans waited until the official announcements were made, preliminary research shows that over 90% of them would have been eligible for booking refunds – however, many of these fans’ bookings took place outside the standard “refund window” that airline carriers around the globe have set as the industry standard in the wake of the COVID-19 Coronavirus global outbreak.

Leaked reports from neighbors indicate that Mr. Karianakoupoulos(sp?) was discovered due to a loud noise emanating from his home. The elderly gentleman that discovered his body, whose name has been kept anonymous by request, indicated that while it appears Mr. Karianakoupolos’(sp?) death appears to have been hanging by suicide, there were also several cuts on his arms and broken shards from a 22oz bottle of Dogfish Head “Faithfull” Ale in the immediate vicinity. Further research shows that the loud sound was very likely that of the vinyl record player skipping repeatedly, non-stop, and the album being played (apparently suffering a gash from the aforementioned beer bottle, thus the skipping) was a bootleg copy of a Purell Jim concert from Florida in 2016 (with the song “Ghost” circled in highlighter by hand and a happy face drawn next to it for unknown reasons).

Shockingly, Tim Bierman - CEO of the Purell Jim fan club - was reached via Skype call this morning for comment and told us that “Dimi will be missed” while trying to keep a straight face, and that he was heard bursting into laughter after he, apparently, thought the call had ended.

My guess is they’ll play Canada before Sea Hear Now. If the festival contract allows it, MSG and Baltimore too. They’ll play those California shows after Ohana. The remaining shows will be integrated into the Fall tour.

Onto rumors since this was the rumor thread before it was repurposed.
Chicago, Columbus and Pittsburgh have been rumored. Possibly a rather early announcement for the fall tour (Coronavirus not withstanding). Dimi’s days of leaking information may be over.
