We got Avocado and Backspacer the Friday before the release date, but that was when albums came out on Tuesdays. I can't remember what happened with Lightning Bolt. When do you think we're gonna get this one?

I also can't recall; I saw the band on album release day and remember knowing most of the words to the new songs, so it must have been at least a week.

I saw them in Buffalo on that tour, which I know was before the album officially came out, and I'd had it for maybe three days at that point.

Yeah, I was at the Worcester show that was day of release for LB and I specifically remember this wacko sitting in front of me knowing all the words to every new song.

Lightning Bolt release date was 10/15, I want to say iTunes had the entire album available 10/8. I can't recall what the promotion was, but the album was available to listen to.

I can remember listening to it on my commute home from work that day. I had tickets to Pittsburgh (10/11) and Buffalo (10/12) on that tour and I had heard the entire album prior to those shows.

This is true. They were shitty bounces, but listenable.

Also, wasn't Unemployable the B-side to WWS? Always thought it was weird we got two album cuts when the single officially dropped
