I got that too. fuck the box it came in was huge. and my parents wrapped it for some reason. I got it in 1988 and this was the Christmas after I had wiped out on my bike really bad, like retrograde amnesia / concussion kind of bad, so it was probably a "we're so glad you aren't dead" present. very awesome to play with, though also pretty damn cumbersome because it was so heavy to move the whole thing around. Loved how it looked though.

I had the 2nd best Space Lego set up in Dalkieth back around 1980. Paul Dewar had the best set up. Fuck that guy.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I had the Darth Vader figurine case for my Star Wars figures. Wish I still had all that stuff. I had the Milennium Falcon as well. My favorite though was the Dagobah playset, which had foam for the sinking swamp.

One time when I was 8 or 9 I got this Mighty Max set during a visit to the US

I thought it was so cool and was very excited to have it, so when I returned to Colombia I brought it to school with me to show everyone how cool it was. All the other kids made fun of me for "having a Polly Pocket" (a similar toy line but for girls)

I had a good sized Millennium Falcon, the Rancor Keeper figurine, and the big underground sand monster that digests you for a thousand years. Among other things like a storm trooper, droids, etc.

Had no clue what they were at the time.
