Also Do the Evolution is better than both Daughter and Even Flow.

One of my favorite favorites in this regard.

The Spin review has me most excited because he started it perfectly. “Admit it, you were worried about this one, weren’t you?”

That sounds like everyone here.

I tweeted at him for his thoughts on Retrograde, he replied

“Wonderful song”

Wasn't that half of this board when it came out?

Rather hear effusive praise in reviews from the long-time fans, since they can probably more accurately gauge the career trajectory of the band, and they're much more likely to be keyed in to the die-hards reaction to those changes.

We still make records to be listened to — not that everyone will listen to a record track one to twelve in a row or side A or Side B — but we still make 'em in case somebody does want to listen to it like that, that's how we make em…

this latest review calls Buckle Up's drums "Cameron's 4/4 March"; another one said it's a faster "Low Light", which is mostly in 6/8; and I think another said 3/4

we have no idea which time signature this is in and neither do reviewers

Wonder if still feels the same about those.

He strikes me as a “Pearl Jam can do no wrong fan.”

I listened to a bit of his podcast yesterday, and the do no wrong definitely comes through. I know I certainly felt that way up to LB.

I enjoyed LB much more than BS right off the bat, but looking back there is slightly more memorable bits and pieces on BS

It's definitely tough to take someone named Johnny Firecloud seriously, but all the other reviews still have me excited and are much more down to earth.

Kerrang's new magazine has a review of the album in it and some other stuff, but I only saw that on twitter, haven't read any of it.

Yes, it’s a wonderful song. Especially the guitar riff.

Amazon are stopping non-essential items being shipped now too... too much pressure on their infrastructure.

Looks like the vinyl will be delayed at this rate too.
