My bike is coming out of storage tomorrow. I plan to upgrade the rack and tires.

I'm going to be purchasing one of these two bikes, I'm just not 100% on which one. which means I'm also selling some bikes so I'm glad for the spring weather because it means people are looking for bikes.

however scammers who search for items that are above a certain dollar amount and then tell you they want to buy it outright without having seen it and can you ship it to Bombay are also looking.

Without looking too closely, those bikes look very similar besides a little difference in frame. I like the wide tires. Bottom one looks better to me, but I know nothing.

the top one is for more mountain/bike-packing rides and the bottom is for gravel/road rides. I found that my top speed doesn't matter as to which bike I ride - though that may change on a carbon bike vs. steel? - so I'm going to do some test rides before I make a final purchase. I do like the top one for it's frame bag.

Over half of people are obese anyways.

At the gym lately I’ve been doing burpees underneath a grab bar, into a pull-up. That will get your blood pumping. And if you have coronavirus probably kill you.

I've been riding my bike for cardio and have a cheap ass weight bench set coming for lifting. Not ideal, but better than nothing.

I can't see how spending more on a bench could make much difference. the only thing that will make a difference is how much you use it. or maybe you are concerned it won't be soft enough for you?

That's why I went cheap. It's got enough to do chest, shoulders, arms, and legs. I've got a bar rigged up for pull ups and chin ups, that'll take care of my back...for the most part. There were $1k machines that had everything, but that didn't seem wise.

I'm sure my bench was less than 100$ but in all seriousness i kinda wish I bought one that had the potential to fold to support your back at different angles. I think that might have been worth an extra 100$

What are everyone's plans now that all the gyms are closed?

Vastly prefer going to the gym, but it is now makeshift home gym time. Had a few home gym things already collecting dust. But, bought some adjustable weight kettlebells that'll add some variety.

Also, will do home yoga, runs, walks, bike rides.

planning on walking to work once or twice a week. it's only three miles so should be ~45 minutes give or take. going to work won't be that bad because it's early in the morning but going home when it's hotter - and up a not-insignificant hill - will be the challenge.

I’ll have to get my fix peering at women in sports bras and yoga pants some other way, I guess.
