He just paid for it. All the super posh doctors in London’s Harley st are offering testing. You’ll pay through the nose for t but still.
Huh, it's almost like there is one reality for the rich, and one for the poor. Good thing thing this has no effect on public health, where the vast majority are poor!

Sometimes actions that, if enacted long term, would be achievements for one political side or the other are, under short term circumstances, necessary responses. See also: large scale cash handouts and presidential emergency powers.

Just like reality has a liberal bias, actually helping people in a crisis might have the same. All Republicans have is the economy and people making money. They have literally nothing else to show for helping the average person over the last 30+ years, and holy fuck is it showing right now.

Speaking of, the open borders crowd has been pretty quiet lately for some reason.

You left out the “from Trudeau’s wife” part.

Is there actually a crowd who wants open borders? Or just a crowd who doesn’t like Trump’s approach?

next you'll tell me people are voting against their own self interests.

Only a brainwashed partisan hack would look at the current situation and conclude that suspending immigration enforcement is a remotely useful step to take to fix it.

Might want to check who you're replying to. I wasn't talking about immigration. I was talking about Trump's woeful response to the epidemic. A good response to me would be showing that the right wing of this country has done anything but funnel money to the rich over the last few decades--something I think you'd have a tough time proving.

To be fair and balanced though, I will mention right wing twitter's current fixation is on whether or not "China virus" or "Wuhan Flu" is racist or if the media is more concerned about that than the disease.

It's such and obvious deflection. No one on the left outside of a tiny handful care about this. I give you guys credit for not taking the bait.

And the old folks of this country--the ones most vulnerable to the pandemic--voted overwhelmingly for Trump. So yes, conclusively, and once again, they voted against their own best interest.
