only at 7 O'Clock right now but I definitely feel the warmth of Yield on this. so so so much better production than BS and LB.

Take The Long Way could be a grower...it's definitely a Cameron song

Thank you for doing your part Jaeti. Would love a PM here from someone!

Not sure on the quality of this. SBWM sounds not as good production wise to me than the official release. I'm bad at this stuff, though.

one listen through whilst working, and it's a winner. best since S/T for sure.

a couple of misses - don't really care for SBWM or Retrograde. I'm sure over time that may change.

Overall Impression after first listen: Good record. I'd put it on par with Avocado. Better than Backspacer and LB by a mile for me personally. Got a lot of latter era Zeppelin vibes from this - In Through The Out Door in particular. They did a nice job with atmospherics on this one. Loses some steam in the last three a bit, but that was expected.

Favorite Tracks:

Take The Long Way
Quick Escape
Alright
Buckle Up

Halfway through one listen and it just feels so much more natural than lb and bs.

No, I agree, I think it’s probably been transcoded and seems a bit lacking quality-wise.

Looking forward to the official FLACs next week.

so funny i read all those reviews from writers and listening parties and it sounds so different from what i was expecting.

that's a good thing. if this record were a song it would sing "I'M OPEEEENNNNNNNNNNN."

finally some songs with a vista view approach.

:nice:
We still make records to be listened to — not that everyone will listen to a record track one to twelve in a row or side A or Side B — but we still make 'em in case somebody does want to listen to it like that, that's how we make em…
