buuuut it has the warmth of Yield in the guitars, and the only slight *rolleyes* I did was Ed shouting "more denial!!"

second time it didn't sound so silly
I'm guessing some of my biggest moments of taken aback will abait with further listens. This thing will continue to open up.
yep I think so! it's not an opaque "everything on the first listen" clunker
and isn't that just wonderful?! :heartbeat:
it really is

I like the garage rock stuff on this record a lot. Has a surprisingly fun energy and isn't as overthought/posed as some of their recent efforts in the same direction. Also I love garage rock slop so.

Oh yeah. Def an improvement but also a little boring at this point. I agree with McP that it has some great energy to it, though. Love that.

The whole album really feels up.

This is my favourite of the Spritzy numbers. It's very Thin Lizzy.

I hope so. I'm looking forward to listening to it more and more. So it has that going for it.

This is somewhat forgettable. Though is fun. There are a few songs on here that make HUGE statements so a song like this kind of is just there....

There is a real looseness here that is turning me on though...

The bridge here reminds me of some older onstage jams. Maybe a RVM bridge thing, or something.

The looseness actually kind of reminds me of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, or maybe I am way off.
