Re: Quick Escape
I think it like this better today. Flows very nicely through my headphones as I'm working. Feels like this should have been the second single. Wonder why it wasn't?

it feels like more of an album outlier (like dance), maybe?Anders wrote:I think it like this better today. Flows very nicely through my headphones as I'm working. Feels like this should have been the second single. Wonder why it wasn't?

They never release the really good stuff anymore. It's how they remain relevant.Anders wrote:I think it like this better today. Flows very nicely through my headphones as I'm working. Feels like this should have been the second single. Wonder why it wasn't?

Very Led Zeppelin to me, with a bit of Faith No More at the end.

That might be it. SBWM probably felt like a safer choice.stip wrote:it feels like more of an album outlier (like dance), maybe?Anders wrote:I think it like this better today. There are noisy sounds in this song I never thought I’d hear PJ make. Wow

As soon as that piano line came in the first time I listened my mind immediately jumped to NIN. That's classic Trent.Ms Harmless wrote:the piano part followed by that lead guitar interlude sounds like NIN

Im REALLY Excited to hear this one but how in the world can the Trump line not come off as extremely cheesy? Its a more direct name drop than even Bush.

it's a one off line that works well here, in the song and thematicallyMs Harmless wrote:it's so quick he almost doesn't fit it in, that's howmikejasond wrote:Im REALLY Excited to hear this one but how in the world can the Trump line not come off as extremely cheesy? Re: Quick Escape
Bushleaguer has good music, but the lyrics ruin it. I don’t mind if a song has some forgettable lyrics, but those are just too overt. Nothing like that on this album.
