High or low, try again
She fell off the alter, a vision
you caught her but then
A woodcut in red
I wish it was not you that she had bled
Selfishness navigation with no end
What is this part about? Who is she? Don't tell me fucking Vicki.

Hey Daft.
Whatcha think about the album?
Hey Strat,
I'm really enjoying it. I have the files in this Collection App on my phone, so I have to play them individually, which is a little frustrating. I'd really like to just press play.
Quick Escape and Alright are my early favorites. I love the little things the band added to River Cross. Take the Long Way is Matt's best song with this band yet, but I wish Chris was singing on it. I read your posts in its thread, but 7 O'Clock is the only track I don't enjoy. I'm with LV. I don't know what Ed is doing. But I think a strength is that posters here are all over the map on favorites and least favorites. It means they're all good songs and down to our own subjectivity. I could honestly see this settling into my top 5 pj albums. Nostalgia and relationships of at least 20 years make it hard to crack their first decade of output, but if this lived back there, I'd say it'd be standing next to Yield in my ranking, and I fucking love Yield. We deserved this album!

i already said this. of course it's her.
what's the story with Vicki? I know nothing about her or why she would be the subject of this verse
I'm convinced this will end up being my favorite song from the album...guitar has such a great aggressive Warren Zevon feel to me and it's a lovely little melody.
I’m hoping this has staying power for me because I really dig this one. Simple, sure it is. They didn’t try to do much, Ed solo, what the fuck ever. Man I love this, gotta be about Cornell.

was actually coming here to post this - warren zevon woulda sung the shit out of this.
Do we know who’s playing guitar on this? Kinda wish it was Stone. It feels more like Footsteps than latter day PJ/Eddie acoustic. Other than the tiny bit a feedback that creeps in around 2:40 and at the end that’s the only instrument right? It’s a great fucking song.
