My favourite right now as well. The verses are amazing. Reminds me Springsteen - downbound train or cross my heart? Can't put my finger on the song but it's definitely Springsteen.

I might agree, but the Trump references hold it back. It’s like the dream world of the song is broken by a real-world reference. Same thing with the government references in River Cross. Still really like both of them though.

oh yeah forgot to mention how bad both of those lines are in each of those. The trump reference is pretty bad on Seven o Clock, and the Government line on River Cross was so..unnecessary.

It is pretty heavy handed on the Springsteen influence. Just for fun..if you want to hear Bruce sound exactly like Eddie vocally, listen to 1:00-1:04 of Bruce’s song Nothing Man.

well, in terms of an inversion, one is a terribly boring slog, while the other is now unfairly being compared to a boring slog of another singer/songwriter.
