What song is your "gateway drug"?
My husband just called Black his "gateway drug" into Pearl Jam. What would be yours?

Re: What song is your "gateway drug"?
Jeremy's mine too.
Not at all impressed w/ Alive & Even Flow at first, actually ragged on them at the time. Then Jeremy hit it big & I really liked it but still didn't buy Ten. I was at a friend of mine's and he was cleaning up his room and held up the cassette and said "this is a really good tape, not a bad song on it". On his advice I bought it and never looked back.

Re: What song is your "gateway drug"?
Corduroy, specifically as the opening track on Live on 2 Legs.
I remember buying the CD on a whim, knowing of Pearl Jam but never being much of a fan. Threw the disc on and was just blown away by the whole set. It was the perfect album for me to buy at that time - I had been listenning to a lot of "git-vocs" and needed something to kick me in the head. It worked.
And if that version of Corduroy was my gateway drug then the rolling drums on gtf was a mainline into my musical central cortex.

Alive made me a fan, but that VMA performance with Neil made me a superfan.
