It is not possible to ascertain from whom the Prince caught the virus owing to the high number of engagements he carried out in his public role during recent weeks.
Yes, or how many people he has infected

He's not wrong, we do need such a test and scientists are working on it as well as a vaccine. They need to find people who have developed antibodies to the virus.
That being said, there have been stories of people being reinfected, so antibodies may not equal immunity. They need to test that too.

I don't know anyone who lives in a retirement home, but it will probably be the norm for people my age and younger.

My retirement plan was to live in one and play PlayStation while someone changes my diapers until I died, but this type of thing really throws a wrench in those plans.

The only thing changing is no one will be there to change your diaper. You will still be PlayStation'ing and dying.
Think I’m going to try being kind to everyone a chance.

That's not the part of his post I'm defending. He's right in that we need an antibody test.

Our schools remain open in SA and I'm still strongly of the view that it's the right idea, though some parents have already taken their kids out.

Totally on board with both points here:
Much of the criticism about the failure to close schools seems politically motivated, arising from people who relish any opportunity to "own" "Scotty from Marketing" (please that meme die). He has been appalling during this crisis, and during the bushfires earlier in the year, but I believe the expert advice on schools is absolutely right.

I know I am a fucking idiot.

So do you want to acknowledge the point that I was actually trying to make? Or just keep fucking whining about Trump and wealthy people

-> If 80% are mild cases, and shitloads of us have already been exposed, 80% of that shitload can probably go back to work and help save this economy
