This!
let's all just forget that every happened. I don't think it would have fit on this album anyway, stylistically speaking.

I got your back buddy. I can't listen to Simmons. I only tune in when Chuck Klosterman is on. I also disagree with CK a lot but he's a smart dude who always gives me something interesting to think about, even when we disagree. Simmons is just an asshat. He's become intolerable.
yeah I listen when Klosterman is on too. Also Bill Hader.
Actually read a couple of Klosterman’s books after hearing him on Simmons. Love their interviews together. The books were great, too. Maybe we can hang after all. We’ll see.

He is sort of douchey, but has a encyclopedic knowledge of NBA history.

I bet the majority of this conversation will be about the early 90s, the NBA, and families.

I’ll have to power through the Boston-ness for this. When do his podcasts usually come out?

Hopefully this will be really good. Hard to tell. Might just be some random talking about stuff we mostly know as well.

don't his podcasts also end up on YouTube? I remember watching the one with Dave Grohl.
Does anyone know if/when they get uploaded? Is it the same time as when the audio gets released, or is it sometime later?

I admit, I was surprised how good this was at the Missoula show.

i love Klosterman!

I enjoyed Simmons's writing before he became an A/V personality. I just hate him in that context. He sounds like million Boston doofuses I grew up with: Not very insightful, and very bro-y.
Klosterman is great. He's really great at coming at ideas from unique angles. Makes things compelling even when you don't agree. Have you guys listened to his new podcast, Music Exists?

I don't think live Pods are the standard.

If it were a live podcast, it'd probably be a radio show. Unless he's on ESPN or Sirius or wherever, we're waiting for an upload
We still make records to be listened to — not that everyone will listen to a record track one to twelve in a row or side A or Side B — but we still make 'em in case somebody does want to listen to it like that, that's how we make em…

Looks like his last few have come out at Midnight EST, which kinda sucks so hopefully that doesn't happen. Wanted to listen to it during the day.
