sorry tree_, but Bridesmaids has not aged well. I enjoyed it the first time I saw it, but it has gotten worse on subsequent watches. Just tryinig to do a bunch of "shock comedy" that was popular at that time of The Hangover, etc.

Decent newspaper movie with Humphrey Bogart. Solid story, but not exceptional. I like the actress that played his ex-wife, Kim Hunter.

Starting Action In The North Atlantic now. Always loved Bogart, but once I reached 30+ movies, I felt I had watched most of what I wanted to see, and also most of what was available for purchase. Bought four movies today, and will get to 40, when I’ve seen all of them. Still hoping for that old magic, that he had in his top 20 movies or so.

Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

i watched jojo rabbit again (i saw it in the theater in november). i thought it was just as great the second time around.
