verb_to_trust wrote:It's a bad idea. They are both too old to be on the ticket together. The odds of them both dropping dead over the next four years are probably higher than you think. The VP pick also needs to show some diversity. It will be a woman, probably of color.
It'll be interesting to see if America is really as ready for a female VP as it likes to say it is.

Reminder: A majority of us voted for both a black man named "Hussein" during the Iraq War (and subsequently reelected) and a woman for president. So a woman for vice president is a non-issue.

Also more of us voted for one of the most deeply unpopular women in the entire country than Donald the Dove.

Yeah I can't help but think that if this coronavirus business had started a month earlier we'd be looking at a very different scenario. This is right up Bernie and EW's alley, and Biden certainly isn't being helped by any of this. Cuomo has that NY no-bullshit attitude and is still young enough to deliver it appropriately. At first I saw this whole mess as likely to doom Trump, but I'm starting to pivot into thinking this is what's going to seal his re-election, even with his incredibly callous and bumbling response.
I'm trying real hard to be the shepherd.

Me too, as scary as that is.

Legit never liked the guy. Did not vote for him in the last election. But he is absolutely nailing this crisis. As much as I've hated his decision making and policies in the past, I have to give him credit on this. It's been fantastic.

Bernie’s dreams are coming true! One of his staffers was assaulted by Biden:

If Trump has frightened liberals so much they run screaming into the corrupt arms of people like Biden, then they deserve to lose for the next 1000 years.

Let's all compromise and settle on another governor who is handling this crisis well, although with less attention paid because he is from a state that isn't New York: Washington Governor Jay Inslee
Please consider voting for me

I wonder if the Democratic establishment is seriously considering replacing Biden once Bernie drops out.
