We watched Manson and then we were told the show was postponed one night as Robin Finch had broke his finger pretty badly in a tour bus accident that day. The next night I believe his tech played most of the show for him. I was 14 and it was my first pit experience ever.
Sounds similar to mine, I was 14 and it was my first pit experience as well. Crazy and scary.

pretty sure that accident was on the Closure DVD, I seem to recall seeing some footage of him with the cast on.

Being "Ghosts," is it mostly instrumental?

"Ghosts" is pretty much my favorite NIN release these days so I am excited for this. Shame the link doesn't seem to be working.

Listened to half of each one. Through the first half of each, I found VI to be more intriguing. A little bit weirder, which does a better job of holding my attention. Though I will fully admit that the Ghosts releases never get me overly excited. Just not my thing in general.

Thanks to a couple different RM'ers for sending this my direction. I'm not that far in yet but so far it's absolutely lovely. This track in particular -- just beautiful:

I like these albums a lot -- they're way more immersive than the first "Ghost" album(s), which felt more sketch/fragment-based. Some of these songs are 10+ minutes, with way less rhythm. I went for a drive today to pick up some groceries -- listening to "VI" on the deserted streets felt like the opening credits from "WALL-E" -- really eerie stuff...

I agree, I listened to them both straight through this morning and quite enjoyed them.
