He's given that Ed answer in like every interview so far.
Are you saying we can be OK with the fact that BO'B sounds awful and like a total douche, but PJ don't care? Is that rock 'n roll? Is that, in fact, punk?
Idk its a more amusing way to look at things, a counter speculation to 'the band don't know what they're doing and BoB is talking advantage of them so he can funnel the money he gets into his cheese-piano business venture' . A line of speculation that could be further speculated, ya dig? Maybe the band knows BoB is a douche-kazoo and threw him to the wolves while they're chillin maxing relaxing all cool at home.

Or you could also look at it like BoB cares more about the actual album than the band does and they know it, then its still funny.....but in a different way.
Tbf, either way it's pretty OK.

We're trying to argue whether or not BoB killed Pearl Jam and is doing some sort of Weekend At Bernie's thing and you're making some sort of pop culture reference that I can't recall of the top of my head. God, I love me some internetting!

Edit because of internet excitement

I thought Kanye's verse was kinda unnecessary.

Maybe it's something simple, and straightforward. PJ don't give a shit any more about selling albums and making money. B'OB had to force them to finish the record for starters. And, what's with the name? Were they just packing up for the day, and B'OB said "Uh, guys we need an album title". Someone responded, "Whatever man, I don't give a fuck. You can call it Vagina Kazoo or Lightning Bolt for all I care".

Then, after completing the album, the band just left (glad that it was over). B'OB said, "Come on guys we better promote it". They just walked out without saying anything, it's just B'OB anyway (he's a such douche).

So B'OB goes all out promoting and being the face of the album. Big social media presence, appearances by him everywhere, even him performing piano on one of the songs live - (well, honestly most of us had no idea what the guy looked like. So after the gig, now when he does public appearances - people would know who he is).

B'OB realises he's becoming the face of the album, and wants the band involved. He pesters them until they cave. They say to B'OB, "We want family time now, so we'll just do some short video clips or something.". Hence the little vignettes were born.

In a shock move, B'OB accepts that this album is "his baby". So secretly decides to release the album with new artwork, featuring just him.

Image

The album will be the lowest selling PJ album to date, causing mass histeria and millions of fans burning their PJ CD's and junk. PJ go into hiding for many years, until their original legacy outlives the ruining of B'OB. This paves the way for album 11 in 2026, purely made my just the member's of PJ without any tinkering/tweaking/ruining by B'OB or otherwise. It goes 8 times platinum. B'OB dies of jealously.

If all the Pearl Jam albums were bowls full of some kind of liquid, which would you dip your balls in?
