I can't properly rank this yet. I think I'd put every song except Retrograde at 5 stars right now. Retrograde would probably still be a 4.

I wish it was the closer. I am just not getting into River Cross yet. I love the Ed/organ only version and wish they would have stuck with that. Don't love what the band did with it—less plucky bass and drums and more guitar is what I'd prefer.

Agreed on River Cross. Wish they would’ve left it alone. The plucky bass notes or whatever over the vocals in the verses are distracting. What were they thinking with that? This song is strong enough that the solo version worked.

I got the physical copy in my mailbox today. Going to give it a couple proper listens while sitting on my patio on this sunny afternoon here shortly.

When I get the hi-res files I'm going to open up "Never Destination" and "Take the Long Way" on Audacity and boost the bass and replace the original tracks in my folder. It is really starting to bother me how thin they sound on the low-end, which is a shame because I really like both songs.

I admire the effort but unless Audacity has implemented some big changes, there are better ways to do this. I’m concerned your method would boost the bass across the stereo spread; what you want is an M/S plug that will allow you to just treat the center.

Apologies in advance if Audacity actually lets you do this now.

No, I think you're right. I haven't checked yet but I'm not sure that my experiment will come out sounding better than the original track. What's a better way to do this? The only other audio editing software I have is Adobe Audition

Just got my vinyl in the mail this morning, and I must say, they outdid themselves this time on the packaging and presentation. The cover of the LP just pops. It has to be one of the more beautiful vinyl packages that I've seen. So much for getting anymore work done today......
