feel like this song should have been the B-Side to DOTC ... it's an 'OK' song, for what PJ does these days... but I feel like it's spot on the album should be for something much deeper ...the initial run through Quick Escape is amazing ... then you get your 'early set break' with Alright and 0700, which are fine ... but after that another word salad track is just kinda 'we're doing this again?' .... I don't hate the song - it could be way worse (and more ebullient) ... it mainly suffers from it's location on the album ... I wouldn't move it forward though ... would it fit further back?? Maybe a Disc 2 track

appreciating this more on the 3rd listen... perhaps given how much of a snoozer the last 1/3 of the album is

The 5 y/o lost her shit to this song this morning. Much flailing and hip shaking.

I enjoy the drumming on this song perhaps more than on any other; it's loose, groovy, nimble - Matt sounds like he's enjoying himself

A little trick I play on my mind
Is probably my favorite lyric on this album.

Another Ed rock song that bores the crap out of me. Same riff pattern, same jumbled delivery. I hope he feels he’s nailed this song now so the next release has no LB, SBWM or ND.

I'm surprised by the reactions to this one. The verses might seem like typical Ed, but they've got some good energy, and certain parts of the song sound to me like they were sucked straight out of the middle of a RVM jam circa '98-'03

We still make records to be listened to — not that everyone will listen to a record track one to twelve in a row or side A or Side B — but we still make 'em in case somebody does want to listen to it like that, that's how we make em…

There's also a lot more space in the guitar parts than most ed solo songs of recent years. Its very "who" and the band is playing very loose - which I love

Yes! Absolutely...just like one of the lesser-known songs off of "Who's Next." Love that kind of limber playing

Yes exactly. Its a fine song and i really would have appreciated it as a B-side to DOTC or on the next Lost Dogs, but for me it just pales in comparison to that epic 6 songs that start the album.

Loving this song. It’s fun in a very good way. Same type of vibe as The Real Me.

And yes, it’s miles better than SBWM.

I easily prefer this song to Seven O'Clock, so I'm more than happy with where it is placed on the record and that it made the record to begin with! This is loads more fun and some real moments of pure joy that I'll enjoy coming back to over and over.

Sure, Ed's been trying this type of song for a few years now and I generally don't like the attempts. However, they captured a fun, loose vibe with this one and I'm all for it.

SBWM is better, but the Real Me comparison is interesting

Why do think it’s better? I know it’s subjective, just wondering what you like more about it.

SBWM is the only song on the record I’m not a big fan of. Sounds like a silly Bside to me.

How could anyone possibly think "Superblood Wolfmoon" is better than this song

I don't understand why people are sleeping on this song. You have to go back to Riot Act to find something that sounds like it.

SBWM has clicked for me but there's a lot of merit to the idea of putting ND in the track 2 slot and making SBWM a b-side on Lost Cats.
