Red Vines just came on a spotify shuffle and I stopped working on what I was doing and just listened to the song until it was over. I like *couldn't* keep working. I had to listen. It was awesome.

The recent praise the new Waxahatchee has gotten is reminding me how much i fucking love p.s. eliot. I like Katie's solo output a lot, but nothing she's done reaches the first album released by her old band. It's basically everything I seek for a lo-fi indie rock record, it's emotional as fuck and maybe stereotypically indie (look at that album cover and title), but so livid and vibrant, few music gets at me the way this does.
