I have no idea what this means or if it is directed at me or stip.
Imagine if "In the Moonlight" didn't exist and KD had just decided to make very random, very cryptic comment

Do you or stip hate in the moonlight?
Hate is strong, but it really isn't one I like

I think Gigaton will slide comfortably into that 8th spot when it is all said and done. Maybe higher? I can't relate with Ten much anymore and Vs. is very uneven to me (thought the production and performances are top notch).
The honeymoon period is still here, but I'm pretty confident Gigaton will end up sitting at 7 or 8 in my ranking. The production and variety gives it the nod over S/T. Ten is a really difficult album for me to rank.

I have no idea how to rank Gigaton, but I've been buying the albums on release day since No Code, and I can't remember a PJ album being this immediately satisfying. It's the perfect album for this moment in time.

I'd love to but every album above it is better. :|

I could probably move it above Vs if that makes you feel better. But that's it.

Nothing As It Seems, Thin Air, Insignificance, Rival and Sleight of Hand are all top tier songs for me. Songs, that I would consider among(st) the best this band has written. I adore every one of them. And even STILL... as an album it can't crack my top 5.

Just goes to show how brilliant this band is. :heartbeat: :heartbeat: :heartbeat: :heartbeat:

10/11 I couldn’t care less
Ok. So here’s the most accurate list I can possibly do. The top eight are all magical. Eight of my favorite albums of all time. I can see Gigaton rising way up the list. The lowest I can imagine it ever being is eighth. Avocado is miles better than Backspacer and Lightning Bolt, but it doesn’t compare to the elite eight. Better production definitely would’ve helped. Including songs like 10 Billion Years, Let it Ride, and Cold Confession could’ve lifted it into the top level.

01. Binaural
02. Yield
03. Vs.
04. Vitalogy
05. No Code
06. Ten
07. Gigaton
08. Riot Act

09. Pearl Jam

10. Lightning Bolt
11. Backspacer
I think Gigaton will be moving up this list. I can see it is high as number 3 right now.

I'm pleasantly surprised how sure I am that this is better than S/T, which has been rejuvenated for me over the years. It gets harder to see it climbing higher, but it's not inconceivable.
