We should really do a "when will it leak" pool.

If it's as good as I think the Manics album will be, this will be a phenomenal upcoming few months of listening to new music.

I think it will leak the last week of September. I'd guess they'll release another single around then/first week in October too.

just think guys. What happens if this album is actually really really good? I know it's a scary thought, but what if?
That's a pretty decent list of albums. I don't like Arctic Monkeys or the Manic Street Preachers, but they're still not terrible bands. If this album matches anyone on this list in quality, I'll be very happy indeed.

Given the number of journo's that were at these listening parties, isn't the number of official reviews low? Is this because of publishing dates?

We're so close to a leak. I can feel it in my naughty bits. Also, I'm still pretty fucking excited about this album except for 1 thing. I have very much been looking forward to SBM regardless of what most people's first impressions were. Until I listened to a live version last night and just imagined that version with drums. I really want to hear someones impression that explains what the beat or tempo of the song is like.

The more interesting question for me is what does he not like?

They tweeted a hashtag of Sirens, leading everyone to believe they were going to play Sirens, when in fact they were going to play A SIREN not the song.

They are waiting for new music the same we all are.

I've said it before, but my ideal situation would be that Matt plays a skiffle rhythm on the snare, with brushes -- almost like a less fast and raucous bluegrass. But I'm not entirely confident that he will, so your guess is as good as mine.

I'd assume not much will be written until the album is about to be released.

So this has actually leaked, huh? Looking forward to reading responses. At this point I know it's there if I want to listen to it, but I want to read that people I trust like it first.

I'm probably way off but I'm imagining it with the kind of bouncy beat from puzzles and games. Or what I remember puzzles and games sounding like anyway, I haven't heard it in a while.
