I can't wait to read opinions, though. I want to do that first before I break my vows. Let's be honest, any one of us could break our vow and not tell anyone in the club, and we'd still be in the club according to Internet lore.
I'm the Kramer of Pearl Jam's own Master of My Domain Club. I join the club and then i'm putting the money on the table at first sniff.

True story: I want to be more interested in it before I buy it. That doesn't mean I have to hear it, but it would be awesome if I could read that others like it.

It's a month until the album, isn't it a bit early for a leak? Unless it's from the listening parties...

Yeah, I'm not expecting this to be true at all.

 How much longer would this thread be if you were "more interested"?

I need to qualify 'interested'. I'm very interested in talking about it, I'm very interested in the real possibility that the album could rekindle my love of the band. But I'm in the No Leak Club, and there's a chance I'll break my vows but I won't feel guilty about it. What I am is worried about listening to the album in case it sucks hard. That fear is making it easier to hold off on the actual experience of listening.

Since the 6th of this month your post count has gone up almost 2,000, with 90% coming in this thread. I'm pretty sure it is a safe bet you are going to break your vows to the no leak club when I decide to forward you my advance copy of the album.

Given that I really liked S/T and loved Backspacer, like much of what I've read about the album, love MYM, and really like L-Bolt, my expectations for this are now quite high. I'm not anxious about it (I think it's gonna be a good album), but I am officially now primed to be disappointed if it doesn't meet them.

I think I really want L-bolt to be great so I don't have to hear RM bitch about it for the next 4 years more than I want it to be good for myself.

If you were to listen to just 1 song from any potential leak what would it be?

Harmless deserves a medal for helping everyone else pass the time while we wait for a leak. He's doing the Lord's work here.

He's done a great job. I'm just not so sure about his dedication and loyalty to the 'no leak club'.

Sad panda.
