Can't you buy the cards with the download code and put those in an easter basket?

Re: Nintendo Switch
Has anyone experienced the JoyCon drift? My kids complain about it, but everytime I tell them to show me, there's either no drift, or a very, very minor amount which I can't imagine is much of a factor in the games that they play.
I suspect they have a friend at school or a YouTube channel that told them how awful it is, so now they think they have to complain about it.
Is it a pain in the ass to send them in and get it fixed?

How do you do that? I've only seen general Nintendo gift cards, which they then waste on garbage in-game purchases.Monkey_Driven wrote:Yup.cutuphalfdead wrote:Can't you buy the cards with the download code and put those in an easter basket?

At Best Buy or GameStop they also sell game cards that are codes to download specific games. Should be located with the physical copies on the store shelves.B wrote:How do you do that? You can also buy download codes for specific games on Amazon which I guess you could print out or write in a card.B wrote:Well, I was never going to try to figure that out under quarantine, but I'll remember for next time.Monkey_Driven wrote:At Best Buy or GameStop they also sell game cards that are codes to download specific games. Yeah, imagine opening a plastic easter egg and instead of seeing three or for foil wrapped chocolates there's a piece of paper with a download code for a $60 video game. That would suck.B wrote:You'd make a shitty Easter Bunny, chud.cutuphalfdead wrote:You can also buy download codes for specific games on Amazon which I guess you could print out or write in a card.B wrote:Well, I was never going to try to figure that out under quarantine, but I'll remember for next time.Monkey_Driven wrote:At Best Buy or GameStop they also sell game cards that are codes to download specific games. Child M_D would have been thrilled to get a video game in an Easter egg.

Damn, acted too slowly on the discounted Labo kits at Best Buy. Each one was only $20!

I would much rather have a $60 download code than a chocolate. And you can get both!
