I feel like I should really like Animal Collective but I can't get into them. They're really creative songwriters, and often their core songs are pretty good but then they decide to make the execution as annoying as possible. Especially MPP, everytime I listen to that album I feel like I'm drowning in reverb hell. Also I really don't like their voices most of the time.

This song is great though

God I used to really like The National but everything they've released since High Violet is a superfluous lamer version of that they used to be (save maybe some more experimental moments of SWB but even those aren't that good)
