Pretty common to do multi-project deals these days. I wouldn't read much into it.

Also, was there ever an official announcement that she's playing Ahsoka? I know Rosario is definitely in Mando 2. But the Ahsoka part still isn't confirmed by Star Wars or Lucasfilm, that I've seen. Am I wrong?

Only what sandell said. He knows Ahsoka is confirmed but not that it’s her doing it but her name was in the mix.

Those three were piss poor. Let’s be real. Even Ahsoka couldn’t elevate them and it’s a shame that’s all they had for her.

It better close out in a massive way to do the entire series credit.

I haven't watched it yet. But I've really liked the Ahsoka arc up to now. If this one manages to pull back in those that haven't liked it much, then I'm SUPER excited.
