Steve Vai does Tuesday and Thursday live streams on Facebook. On Thursdays he talks about meditation and esoteric thought, but played guitar over a vamp at the end and completely blew it away.

For those who enjoy The Decemberists -- Colin Meloy has been doing Instagram Live concerts Fridays at noon Pacific time. He's done four or five of them at this point. They're super charming and entertaining. God mix of hits and super deep cuts. He's done a few covers as well. I look forward to them each week.

Local H released a new album (Lifers) and played it in its entirety a week ago. This coming Friday - the 24th - they’re playing their 2004 album Whatever Happened to P.J. Soles? at 9 central. The YouTube feed is plugged into the soundboard. This is a great record and I can’t wait for Friday.
